CARLISLE TOWNSHIP COMMUNITY DAY-

Carlisle Township Community Day will be held on Sunday, September 26th at the Carlisle Township Fire Station at 11950 LaGrange Road, LaGrange.

Registration for the 4th Annual Car and Bike Show will start at 9:00am, or entries can preregister by calling 440-458-5178.

Concessions, refreshments, and carnival rides will be available.

CARLISLE TOWNSHIP SCHEDULES 2010 DUMPSTER DAYS-

Fall Dumpsters Days are Saturday, October 16th and Sunday, October 17th from 9:00AM to 4:00PM

Dumpsters days are held at the Town Hall parking lot (11969 LaGrange Road). Residents will be required to show a picture ID at all dumpsters.

Items being accepted are scrap metals, appliances, furniture, motor oil, non-ferrous metals, automotive batteries, cardboard, tree and yard brush, and other large items not accepted at the curb by Allied Waste. The recycling center will be open for all the regular recyled items. NO GARBAGE, HAZARDOUS WASTE MATERIALS, PAINTS, SOLVENTS, OR POOL CHEMICALS.

The Township will NO longer accept electronics, computers, televisions, tires, or fluorescent bulbs at dumpster days. These items can be taken to the County Collection Center on Abbe Road on Mondays and Wednesdays from noon to 6:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00am to 6:00pm.

PUBLIC WALKING AT CARLISLE TOWNSHIP TOWN HALL-

The Carlisle Township Town Hall at 11969 LaGrange Road (across from the Fire Station), is open to the public for walking from 8:30am to 10:30am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This is a great opportunity to beat the winter weather and walk indoors in a warm and ice free environment. So grab your spouse, neighbors, or anyone who is interested and get your steps in at the Carlisle Township Town Hall. Walk for a few minutes or walk for two hours. Walk at your own pace. Entrance for walkers is the door in the middle of the Town Hall on the south side.
